Produced by Candace Corrigan - Use the code FRIENDS for $33.85 general admission
“A Vote of Her Own” is an original musical by Candace Corrigan and Janne Henshaw, inspired by the final campaign to ratify the 19th Amendment—set in the summer of 1920 in Nashville. Told through original songs and vintage tunes of the era, this production brings to life the women who fought for—and against—women’s suffrage. Drawn directly from historical accounts, their voices rise again to tell a story of passion, politics, and perseverance.
August 15-17, $40.25 general admission / $22.33 students (incl. fees). Z. Alexander Looby Theatre.
