Audition: William Inge's Bus Stop

The Keeton

Directed by Erin Grace Bailey

Unpaid, unable to accomodate AEA contracts

When a snowstorm closes the highway, a busload of people must hole up for the night at a roadside cafe. Among the riders are a nightclub singer who has been kidnapped by a brash young cowboy intent on marrying her, his older, wiser friend, and an alcoholic scholar. Their interactions with the women who run the cafe, the bus driver and the town sheriff lead to a revelatory night for all of them. All roles open and we would love a diverse cast.
