Shakespeare Allowed! TWELFTH NIGHT

Nashville Shakespeare Festival

The Nashville Shakespeare Festival invites you to read ‘Twelfth Night’, out loud in a reading circle. Viola is separated from her twin in a shipwreck, dresses as a man, and gets a job as the servant of Duke Orsino, with whom she falls in love. The Duke has Viola help him woo the Countess Olivia, with whom he is in love. Olivia crushes hard on Viola (thinking she's a man). And, as the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust's website puts it, "shenanigans ensue."

FREE! Downtown Nashville Public Library, 615 Church St., Nashville, TN 37219, 3rd Floor Commons Room.
