AUDITION: What the Constitution Means to Me


Women in Theatre (WIT) Nashville - paid opportunity, unable to accommodate AEA contracts

Playwright Heidi Schreck's boundary-breaking play breathes new life into our Constitution and examines how this living document could evolve to fit modern America. 2019 Pulitzer Prize Finalist in Drama and Tony Award nominee.

Virtual Auditions: Prepare the sides for the character(s) you would like to submit for. Videos must be received as an UNLISTED YouTube link or Vimeo link. If you are submitting for more than one role, please have all material in ONE video. Submission links, headshots, resumes, and the completed audition form are DUE to womenintheatrenashville@gmail.com by September 20, 2024 at 11:59pm CT.

In-Person Auditions: Sunday, September 22, 2024 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM, Monday, September 23, 2024 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. Open Call. Cold Reading. All Roles Available. Darkhorse Theatre.

Rehearsals: Rehearsals are in Brentwood, TN starting 9/25/24. Times: Several hours on several weeknights per week until tech week. Since it's only a cast of 3, we'll shape the schedule to the actors' availability as much as possible.

Performances: Darkhorse Theatre, 4610 Charlotte Ave Nashville, TN 37209. Performances on 11/8, 11/9, 11/10, 11/14, 11/15, and 11/16. Performance Schedule: 7:30 PM Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Sunday at 2:30 PM
