Join community icon Ms. Pearl for a special Saturday afternoon gathering, including her performance work Porch Talk! Everyone is invited to the table to hear about the Ms. Pearl’s life, how she come to be connected to the land, and the lessons she learned from nature, like how to be free, strong, and steadfast like a blade of grass. Performed by this proud representative of our city’s “seasoned citizens”, the performance combines acting, poetry, and movement to tell the story of how a young troubled girl becomes a foot loose fancy free woman. C’mon over to the porch and hear what Ms. Pearl has to say! Refreshments will be provided.
